TO FEED THE HUNGRY ONE SOUL AT A TIME TO FEED THE HUNGRY ONE SOUL AT A TIME

Our mission is....

TO FEED THE HUNGRY ONE SOUL AT A TIME

Jesus left the ninety-nine to feed the one...

City Hope exists to reach the hungry, the overlooked, and the forgotten, one soul at a time.
But the truth is, our facilities are worn down, our resources are stretched thin, and the need keeps growing. We're operating out of an old city library that desperately needs renovation, and our small team can't carry the weight alone.
That's where YOU come in.
With your help, we can rebuild, restock, and reach farther, feeding more families, strengthening the poor, and offering real hope to those who need it most.
Because if one soul is worth everything to Him, then one soul is worth everything to us.

  • The Reason

Fernando grew up in the Philippines, where going to bed hungry was a common reality. As a young man he became a cook so he could feed the people. One night he made a promise to God:

  • The Promise

"If you help me get to America, I'll feed your children for the rest of my life."

God opened the door and Fernando kept his promise.

  • The Fullfillment

For over 25 years he has been doing exactly that. Through City Hope, he's fed thousands of hungry souls. No spotlight. No headlines. Just food, love, and faith in action.

Now it is our turn to keep him going.

CITY HOPE

CITY HOPE is the outreach arm of Nations for Christ, a local Christian ministry faithfully led by Pastor Fernando and Belinda Calaguas since they planted their first church in Utah back in January 2000.
It began with just the two of them, a few folding chairs, and ten believers gathered in prayer. Today, it's a growing community of over 170 people, grounded in faith, service, and a mission to bring healing and hope to those in need.
As the world grew more uncertain and many families began struggling just to get by, Fernando and Belinda's calling only deepened. What began as a church soon became something more, a steady hand for the hungry, the hurting, and the overlooked. Every box of food, every bag of groceries, and every warm smile handed out by City Hope is an extension of the same Gospel they've been preaching for over two decades.
They've never had much. No big donors. No paid staff. No spotlight. But they've done more with less than most ever will.
Now, they need your help to keep going and to keep growing. With plans to renovate an old city library into a proper food distribution hub, your support can help them reach more families than ever before.
Because sometimes, the smallest ministries do the greatest good.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

Right now, everything City Hope does happens in the basement of an old, worn-down city library. It's the only usable space left-but it's far from ideal.

The refrigerators downstairs run constantly, driving up electric bills just to keep food cold.
There's not enough secure storage, which limits how much food they can safely accept and give out.
The space is cramped, aging, and stretched to its limit.

The entire upstairs is gutted, no carpet, no electrical, no finished walls. It's unusable. But if renovated, it could double their capacity to serve, provide room for volunteers, host outreach programs, and give this ministry the space it needs to grow.

City Hope has the heart, the history, and the people. What they don't have is a finished facility. Your support can help turn this rundown building into a place of strength, service, and restoration-one soul at a time.
